Convention English Schools (CES) are educational institutions run and managed by the Society- Evangelical Baptist Convention(EBC), a Not for Profit Charitable Organization Registered under the Society Registration Act (XXI) of 1860, Manipur Act No 1 of 1990, bearing Registration No 2294 of 1977. It runs and manages a total of 46 schools of various levels in the state of Manipur and Mizoram. CES caters to the interior hilly – mountainous and hard to access regions of Manipur and Mizoram, providing access to education to the economically and socially backward population by charging minimal fees.
The Overall management and Supervision of CES rests with the Director of Development Department of EBC.
